The Jeffersontown Fire Protection District has three stations that house some of the most sophisticated equipment for today’s fire fighter. We have just recently added a third crew to 24 hour shift. We now have two engines and a truck company operating 24 hrs. This means we have no less than 12 firefighters responding to any given run. Five engines, two aerial ladders, one tanker, one field unit , Hazardous Materials Decontamination trailer, and a rescue unit make up the departments apparatus.
