EMT Recruit Class
EMT Recruit classes involve a paid, 40-hour schedule, during which civilians are taken through a full EMT course. Upon completion of the course, recruits are required to pass the National Registry EMT exam and obtain state licensure.
Recruits are then assigned to an ambulance and employed on a 24 hours on, 48 hours off schedule.
